Digital Movie Production - The objective of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Movie
Production program is designed to prepare students for professional
career opportunities in digital video production, digital
cinematography, editing, and special effects. The degree program
focuses on the use of industry-current digital video and audio
technology, hardware, software and industry standard equipment and
studio facilities. Digital Movie Production will begin by teaching
students how to focus and develop their ideas into a working
script, while they simultaneously learn the film industry
fundamentals of preproduction, the planning phase of movie
development. Students can go on to learn the fundamentals of audio
for media, advanced editing techniques, DVD (Digital Versatile
Disks) production, and digital compositing and special effects.
Each class builds upon the concepts taught in the previous term,
leading up to a final project that will encompass all in which they
have been taught completing their B.F.A. in Digital Movie
Production. Not only are students in the Digital Movie Production
degree program given the knowledge to create both fiction and
non-fiction videos, but stunning visual special effects and title
creation as well. This program in digital movie production is
